A visual representation of "My Sister's Keeper" by Fathia Absie

We've been working on note taking techniques in the 9th grade.  To this end, we listened to a story told by Fathia Absie for the Moth Story series at NPR.  It's pretty awesome, check it out here.  As we listened we took notes using this template for Cornell notes, which you can also find on the header bar at the top of this blog.  Below are the notes I took during the telling, reposted at the request of the students of 9A.

Cuttler's Superstar Class of the Week - The Competition Continues...

Our Superstar Class of the Week for the week of 10-17  is...

9B!

9B won for the first week and unseated powerhouse champion 9C who had either won or tied for the win for each of the last 3(!) weeks.  It was a close battle with 9A surging late on Thursday to try and take their first stand-alone win, having already tied for first last week, and I owe them a late congratulation for not mentioning it.  Next week, 9B will try to defend their crown, 9C will try to bounce back, and 9A will try to be a stand alone champion for the first time.  Be sure to check back to hear of all the fast paced action!  You won't want to miss this!!
